My Story

I am an integrative trauma practitioner experienced in working with individuals who struggle with severe, persistent mental illnesses. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-S) in Colorado and Wyoming (LPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC).
I am also certified as a Reiki Level III Practitioner. I have received my BA in Psychology from Saint Leo University, my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University, and am currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology with Walden University.
As a clinical practitioner, I have extensive experience and training working with individuals who wrestle with substance abuse, chronic and complex trauma, and many other severe, persistent mental illnesses including Complex Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and personality disorders such as Dissociative Identity Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder using trauma-based and somatic interventions as well as holistic healing techniques.

I specialize in helping BIPOC and multiracial/multicultural individuals, LGBTQ+, military/veteran individuals, couples, and families, who have suffered intergenerational and systemic trauma heal, grow, and thrive. In addition, I also help treating a myriad of disorders including but not limited to PTSD, anxiety, behavioral and mood disorders, OCD, attachment difficulty, and depression. I am also the co-author of 101 Thought-Provoking Questions from the Everyday Therapist and have been featured as a trauma expert on the hit TV show Fatal Attraction.
